i wrote a cookbook!

but it's not what you think

yes, you read that right — i wrote a cookbook and no, it’s not my usual baking experiments or hiking-meal series (though those definitely helped me get into the zone)

this cookbook was created for the team at devoted grandma, and I wrote every single recipe. it’s split into three sections: recipes to bake with grandkids, recipes to bake for when family visit, and recipes to send love from afar

it was a fun challenge shifting my usual style to a mainly U.S. audience — from spelling differences to using cups instead of grams, and focusing on familiar, kid-friendly U.S. ingredients. it was very different to my usual work, but honestly, so much fun to experiment with flavours and recipes in a new context.
